Vampire Hunt: Happy Halloween

"Vampire Hunt"

Happy Halloween! I love Halloween and all the fantastic imagery that goes with it... I am a big fan of the great gothic type of images from Vampire hunter D, Castlevania, & Trinity Blood. I would love the opportunity to work in such a wonderfully detailed world.
Have a fun Halloween,

Now those are some lovely locks. And, like your use of steam and smoke, they add a nice touch of movement to the composition.

I'm with you on those sort of gothic elements. Especially the sort of gothic fantasy that Amano mastered and seemed to inspire for Castlevania (a terrific series in its own right).

Are those claws she's holding in her hand? Flaming claws? I couldn't tell in the smaller shot and they're cut off at just the right point in the closeup to be obscured.

Great work as always, Jennifer!

Thanks! =)
Im a huge fan of Amano.

I had been working things in her right hand as flaming (spell effect) throwing knives (She's wearing more knives for later ;)

And yep, she has a bite mark on her neck.

There is so much drama in this piece, and so many details! Just wonderful. Happy Halloween!!!

As a side note, I wanted to say thanks for the books. You have made a 7 year old very happy! And thank you for signing them too. We will cherish them both.
